Sage (Salvia officinalis), also called common sage or culinary sage, is a perennial, evergreen subshrub native to the Mediterranean region, widely cultivated for its aromatic, earthy leaves and attractive flowers.

Sage has soft, grey‑green, wrinkled leaves  with a aromatic smell. Mature plants typically reach 30–90 cm (1–3 ft) in height and spread. Sage can be planted in borders, herb garden areas and planter pots.

They are hardy all year round and needs medium watering routines in dry weathers.
