The 'Rouge de Bordeaux' fig is a cold-hardy French cultivar known for producing small to medium-sized, dark purple fruits with intense, sweet, jammy red flesh. An excellent choice for eating, drying and making preserves.
Plant comes in an 18L pot and is approx 2 metres tall.
Ideal for any garden this self-fertile variety matures in late summer/early autumn, thrives in full sun, and works well against warm, sheltered walls. 
The main crop will produce late August-September months. It is a decidous plant and can grow up to 3-4 metres tall.
