Black Stem Nitidia Black Pearl Bamboo.
 
Small clumps for sale with 2-3 canes in each. They are sent bareroot and without pots. Size is approx 5-8 inches tall.
 
This species of bamboo will grow to around 4 metres tall when mature, which is pretty impressive for a clumping bamboo. Dark canes, almost purple in colour sometimes, make this bamboo a very attractive bamboo to have in the garden.
 
Its clumping properties mean that it will only spread around 1m each way, however this takes a long time and is easily manageable. Perfect for smaller gardens and use in pots and containers. Brilliant for screening once established.
 
PHOTOS ARE OF MATURE BAMBOO. SOMETIMES NEW GROWTH IS GREEN AND CHANGES BLACK OVER TIME
