Phyllostachys Viridis is a very fast growing Bamboo species that can when mature produce very thick canes even in our climate here in the UK.
It can be used for screening due to its fast dense growing foliage but also stand-alone plants as the larger canes when mature can become very eye catching.
This species has an immense speed of growth with canes reaching 5 plus meters in under 3 weeks in peak growing season.
