A slender evergreen tree which has a columnar growth habit. The tree grows with dense, compact branches with thin vivid blue spiky needles. Cones are long and cylindrical in shape.
 
This tree prefers a moist well drained acidic soil and watering regularly in summer months ensuring it doesn't go dry. Little pruning is needed.
