Fargesia Genf Bamboo Plant Potted.
 
This is a rare form of Jiuzhaigou from Nothern China  The canes are of reddish colour with fine  foliage.  Currently still a fairly new cultivar and quite rare.
 
Brilliant when planted in semi-shade, where the mixture of green, purple and reddish canes are topped with dainty small dark green leaves. ‘Juizhaigou’ makes a superb specimen plant with it’s upright fountainous habit.
 
It can have a sheltered shady position be planted as a hedge or screen to create a wonderful oriental feel. Also suitable as a container plant, where it will make an excellent addition to the patio garden. Little maintenance required, except regular watering.
