The Super Blue Spruce Tree (Picea pungens 'Super Blue') is a striking evergreen conifer known for its silvery-blue needles and conical growth habit. It can grow to a height of around 2.5 metres in 10 years and is suitable for any deep, moist but well-drained, neutral to acidic soil in full sun.
Pruning isn't required as it keeps its cylindrical shape. Watering schedules should be only when tree is dry and prevent them sitting in water for long periods of time as root rot will occur.
The tree is versatile and can be used as a specimen tree, part of a border, or kept in a pot. It is hardy and easy to grow. Pot-grown plants can be planted at any time, whereas bare roots need to be planted between November and March.
This tree comes in a 10L pot at the height of 80-90cm tall.
